Gaming News: BORDERLANDS LEGENDS Released on iOS

Flush with the critical and commercial success of Borderlands 2, 2k Games and Gearbox have today released BORDERLANDS LEGENDS for iOS.

Featuring the original Vault Hunters; Brick, Mordecai, Lilith and Roland as well as "Bazillions" of weapons Legends is billed as genre mash-up of action-RPG and Strategy. So far so good. Here's the launch trailer to show you a little more...

Christoph Hartmann (President of 2K) had this to say:

“The release of Borderlands Legends exemplifies our commitment to growing the Borderlands franchise... By offering a high-quality Borderlands experience designed specifically for mobile devices, fans can immerse themselves in the world of Pandora no matter where they are.”

Given that they haven't put a foot wrong so far with this IP I suspect I may well be giving this a whirl.

Borderlands Legends is available now for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad from the app store.
