2K Games have today released the launch trailer for the upcoming strategy/combat/management/alien kick-ass re-make of one of gaming's holy grails - XCOM:ENEMY UNKNOWN...

Looking good. There's been rumblings of the game being dumbed down somewhat from the original (tends to happen when games are consolised [is that even a word? - Ed] ), but with what has been released so far, this is looking like a superb update to one of the best games ever-made.

Xcom: Enemy Unknown is released in the UK on 12th October on PS3, Xbox 360 & PC
