Unfortunately it's all in Japanese...

Though "not part of the main Metal Gear Solid series", players will recognise the protagonist Raiden (derided in Metal Gear 2 - Cyborged up in Metal Gear 4) and the familiar, gritty visual stylings. Showcasing a whole range of bad-asses including the Shiva-esque "Mistral", this is shaping up to be a winner. Oh and it turns out that "Revengeance" is actually a word (according to the Urban Dictionary, at least, it's the act of gaining revenge at a rate of at least 2.54 times greater to that of standard revenge and 1.61 that of standard vengeance). The real dictionary definition wasn't as interesting...

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is scheduled for release in the UK on February 22nd 2013.
