Star Wars

Somewhere in a studio, this should all be happening right now. The reason why it should be happening is that this generation is devoid of a decent Star Wars game. Star Wars Battlefront III would have allowed players to see the battles they love from the films in Hi-Def graphics, giving them a sense of scale not seen before in a game set in the galaxy far away. Imagine a Star Destroyer getting attacked from the ground based ion cannon or seeing thousands of battle droids running towards you. Also the online capabilities of the current consoles would make this game a lot of fun. Dominating the galaxy or defending it alongside your friends and allies.

The newly released video below shows us a few examples of the game types that would be available, were it an actual game. The size of the maps, the amount of characters and the scale of the battles are what would make this game a classic. The graphics in the video show how incomplete the game actually was when it was cancelled. I hope the game does eventually get picked up by another studio because it has a fan base already so if it were released it would explode onto peoples consoles. Hopefully an announcement is not far over the horizon and as we watch the two suns set we can always hope.

You must have the Adobe Flash Player installed to view this player.

This has been canned so The Old Republic MMO keeps as many players as possible.
It's losing them quickly so another half decent Star Wars game would hurt the subs numbers badly.
That is my Internet Expert opinion and I am sticking to it.
