Gaming News: THE WALKING DEAD Gets a Teaser Trailer (+ Michonne Gets An Origin Story)

With the final episode of THE WALKING DEAD hitting our screens this coming week, it's that time again to start panicking over how we'll possibly wile away the hours until its return in October. Well, this year it just got a whole lot easier, with the official video game finally being released this April. Here's the new, very effective teaser trailer to whet our appetites...

The game will reportedly focus on new characters - this time a survivor named Lee, a prisoner freed prematurely amidst a zombie attack, who befriends Clementine, a young girl separated from her family (read: they were eaten). The unlikely duo must work together to survive a perilous journey to the deep south. Why the deep south? Despite their name, developers Telltale remain ironically tight-lipped. In fact, the only other details we have thus far is that some of our favourite characters from the show/comic will make appearances in the narrative, albeit fleetingly.

Why choose a nuddy mag to premiere the story of one of the strongest female characters in comic book history? We haven't a clue.
