Gaming News

After months of playtesting, speculation and geeky fun, the Star Trek roleplaying game, Star Trek Adventures, has arrived and is now available for pre-order.

Star Trek has had tabletop roleplaying games before, but they’ve lacked the broad scope of the franchise and tended to be pretty old-fashioned in design. Modiphus’s latest offering promises to be an up to date and thrilling experience, dropping you into the most interesting eras of the Star Trek Universe.

Most of us will want to get Star Trek Adventures: Core Rulebook, but hardcore fans may want to get their hands on Star Trek Adventures Borg Cube Collector's Edition Box Set. This Borg Cube-shaped box contains pretty much everything you need to roleplay in the Star Trek Universe, allowing you to boldly game where no one has gamed before. The snazzy box includes dice, core rulebooks, laser engraved token, posters and more.

There’s also a pile of scale models of various heroes and villains from the show. Let’s face it, everyone needs a tiny Captain Picard in their lives.

Those with slightly more modest budgets can order the books and the cube by going for the Borg Drone option; who doesn’t want to bring a drone home? You can pre-order all of these lovely things on the Modiphus website here.
