Gaming News: Get Your Spidey-Senses Tingling With Full Trailer For THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN...

Written by Kris Heys Monday, 12 December 2011

Gaming News

As promised, Activision have released their first full length trailer for their AMAZING SPIDER-MAN video game tie-in.

While it's no doubt an extremely impressive watch, we find it hard to believe Activision when they claim this will act as any kind of sequel to the movie at all. Nothing we've seen from Sony's upcoming reboot suggests anything similar in scale or tone, in fact it looked decidedly more serious than Raimi's approach to the series. If however, this does hint at what we can expect from the new film franchise, then colour us very excited indeed. We're all for more comic book movies embracing their roots, and not being ashamed of them *cough* Nolan's Dark Knight series *cough*. Bring on the giant robots we say!

THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN hits every platform under the sun July 2012. Oh, and there's a movie version released at the same time too apparently.
