Revered Japanese game developer and publisher Square Enix are currently at work on new projects, boasting each to be ‘experimental’ and totally unique. With a back catalogue of titles that are continually experimental and unique, we’re excited what they’ll bring to the table this time.

Square Enix president and representative director Yosuke Matsuda has revealed during the company’s recent financial briefing that he “cannot disclose much at this moment, but we are working on various initiatives, including some experimental projects.” Continuing, he said “So far, we have created IPs for a wide range of platforms, including consoles, smart devices, PCs and publication. Based on this strength, we will actively work on creating new IPs in FY2016/3.”

Square Enix are due to hold a press conference at the Electronic Entertainment Expo on June 16th.
