Welcome once again to the movie marketplace that is Watto’s Emporium, which rounds up some of the best merch that we found across the online galaxy this week. And with Spectre ensnaring cinemagoers, T-800s invading DVD stores and kick-ass female spies coming into focus, there is a lot of Emporium opportunity this week! So come with us for another walk down the isles of movie merch and odd quirks we found online this week…

3. Skyfall poker chip (thecinemastore.co.uk, £4.95)

Sam Mendes’ second and (supposedly- hmmm we’ll see) last Bond film is doing the box office rounds (though critically it is having a more challenging time) in cinemas across the nation (see our review here). So we may as well celebrate the success of his Mendes’ Bond journey by going back in 2012, where Skyfall grabbed the attention of many Bond fans and cinemagoers alike because when the chips were down after the polarising (and that’s putting it nicely) Quantum of Solace, Craig’s Bond bounced back in many peoples estimations. So in celebration of Skyfall’s successful gamble of expanding James Bond’s backstory, here is a neat (and cheap) way to celebrate. Available from thecinemastore.co.uk, these Skyfall Poker chip 1000s (based on Macau’s Floating Dragon Casino which features in the movie) are pretty neat and despite what they represent, we’d hardly call this a gamble of a purchase.

2. Skynet T-Shirt (beltsbucklestees.com, £12)

This past Monday another franchise re-emerged, as this year’s much-maligned Terminator: Genisys arrived on DVD Shelves (come with us if you want to read our review). Whether you liked the film, hated it or thought the trailer was stupidly spoileriffic (ok we all thought that last one), we can all admire at least something about the menacing machines that were born from James Cameron’s 1984 Sci-Fi Classic. So in occasion of the franchise, Skynet taking a different approach to the war with man and the fact that we have all become slaves to the machines- here is the perfect shirt to stay on the right side of the cybernetic powers that will come to be. Based on the vintage Skynet logo, theses beltsbucklestees.com shirts take us back to when the Terminator timeline was easy to follow…

1. Signed Spy Picture (sportsmemorabilia.com, $181.99USD)

This coming Monday sees Paul Feig’s Spy land on DVD (observe our review here) and as we opened with a movie agent, it seems appropriate that we end with one too. Now finding something related to Spy was not especially easy (certainly not as easy as finding something related to Bond!). However for fans of star Melissa McCarthy we happened to chance across this signed picture with authenticity certificate over at sportsmemorabilia.com. It is a little pricey by usual Emporium standards but is something very different from the norm and for people who adored Spy and its talented star, a very tempting limited item. We’re sure Susan Cooper was glad they chose this Dawn French-like pic over her other undercover outfits!
