Welcome once again to the movie marketplace that is Watto’s Emporium, which rounds up some of the best merch that we found across the online galaxy this week. And the arrival of Spectre in cinemas at the start of this week has obviously led to a Bond section to this week’s round-up, although bigger than that we celebrate the spooktacular activities going on tomorrow for Halloween! So take our hand as we go for a stroll, once again, through the biggest movie marketplace since Hellboy IIs Troll market, this is Watto’s Emporium, this is Halloween and this is our weekly round-up…

3. Haddonfield High School T-Shirt (teepublic.com, $20 USD)

It would be remiss of the Emporium not to make mention of some merchandise out there that celebrates the knife wielding, skin tearing, limb lopping, menacing movie series that has come to define the Halloween season over the years. We speak of course of the franchise that brought the bleached Shatner mask faced mentalist Michael Myers to life, Halloween. And there are numerous brilliant shirts celebrating the series but one of our favourites out there on the net is klance’s brilliant Haddonfield High School class of 1978 shirt (from teepublic.com), which ought to weed out the hardcore fans from the casual viewers of John Carpenter’s iconic slasher.

2. Spectre Portable Speaker (shop.007.com, £38.48)

Well as Spectre is shooting its way through cinemas nationwide (see our spectretacular review here), we depart momentarily from the Halloween festivities for a piece of Bond-related merch. The modern day Bond films may not quite go in for laser watches, exploding pens and decapitating magnetised trays but that doesn’t mean that the gadgets available from Q aren’t still pretty nifty. Yes it may not be a jetpack or an invisible car but this licensed Spectre Portable Speaker, exclusively available online at shop.007.com, is still cool. USB Charged, connectable to Bluetooth and suitable for phone calls, this portable and easy to use device is perfect to accompany you on holiday or better yet brilliant for allowing you to go all 007 in your home, with your favourite Bond theme blasting out for background scoring (ala Alan Partridge). Or y’know, you could use it to do the mash, do the Monster Mash.

1. Zombie Belt Buckle (beltsbucklestees.com, £15)

Speaking of monster mashing, if you want to go out looking dead good tonight or tomorrow, then beltsbucklestees.com have the perfect Horror themed piece of kit for you, in this awesome zombie belt buckle. Its colourful, its gory and it is what Halloween is all about- combining a good time with brain munching terror. This belt buckle is guaranteed to turn a few heads of Horror fans as you are jigging away on Halloween night. Extra points if you are jigging away to actual scary movie music and not just generic naff pop songs. We love us some Alice Cooper in “He’s Back (The Man Behind the Mask)” from Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives or The Chordettes “Mr. Sandman” (from the Halloween series…of course).
