Welcome once again to the movie marketplace that is Watto’s Emporium, which rounds up some of the best merch that we found across the online galaxy this week. And as the final (at least that’s what they say) instalment in the hit found footage Horror franchise, Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension is in cinemas now (see our frightening verdict here) we decided to haunt the emporium this week with 3 items of a paranormal nature. They’re here…in Watto’s Emporium this week…

3. Poltergeist Can Cooler (thehouseofmysterioussecrets.com, $4.95USD)

As Gil Kenan’s remake of Tobe Hooper’s haunted house classic Poltergeist hits DVD shelves on Monday, it seemed appropriate to find a piece of paranormal home ware. Well we say home ware but this is more beverage wear, with this can cooler from thehouseofmysterioussecrets.com. Modelled after Hooper’s original film and decorated with vintage designed imagery of the late Heather O’Rourke as Carol Anne- yes we say it in Zelda Rubenstein’s voice too- this is the perfect accompaniment to your night with a cool drink in hand, seeing whether the remake has done justice to Hooper’s film or been another case of stick with the classics.

2. Paranormal Activity Hard Back Phone Covers (ioffer.com, £11.03)

When it comes to Paramount’s lucrative money making low budget, high earning found footage series, shirts and mugs are not likely to just pop up. However over at ioffer.com there are some quite neat hard case Paranormal Activity phone covers for Samsung Galaxy and i-Phone models. The design is inspired by the poster for the first- and many might say best- film in series (though we quite like Paranormal Activity 3) that sees Micah Sloat and Katie Featherston sat up in bed in sheer fright. Who knows, maybe with this accompaniment to your phone, Toby might just visit you…

1. Ghostbusters Suit T-Shirt (beltsbucklestees.com, £15)

Well we all know that when there’s something strange, in the neighbourhood, sod the cops you call the Ghostbusters! Or if they’re not in, you can now see to the matter yourself thanks to this ace Ghostbusters suit shirt from beltsbucklestees.com. Based on the outfit worn by Bill Murray’s character Peter Venkman (clock the nametag) and by the entire terrific trio in the seminal Horror/Comedy classic, this shirt is a delight for fans brought up on sliming and marshmallow men. Oh and it glows in the dark too for an added dollop of awesome. When you go out in this shirt, you won’t need to tell people “I ain’t afraid of no ghosts”, they’ll already know.
