Welcome once again to the movie marketplace that is Watto’s Emporium, which rounds up some of the best merch that we found across the online galaxy. And this week we are concerning our self with blocks, bucks and bolts, so why not take a peek at what we have found for all you movie geeks out there. Celebrate the majesty, celebrate the madness and this week celebrate a certain bald-headed action stars birthday with Watto’s Emporium…

3. Ant-Man Bust Money Bank (Zavvi.com, £15.99)

As Marvel’s newest dose of colourful comic book entertainment scurries into cinemas, take your fixation with all things Ant-Man (see our massive review here) to a whole new level. Who would you trust with your money? Why a man dressed as a giant bug of course with this Ant-Man Money Bank, available from zavvi.com. From the waist up this bright cash container stands at a mighty 20cm high (and it won’t shrink on you!) and is based on the pint-sized heroes appearance in the pages of Stan Lee, Larry Lieber and Jack Kirby’s comics. That said, considering Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang was a former thief, we are not sure we 100% trust him with our loot…snazzy suit or not.

2. Minecraft Shirts (alltheheroes.co.uk, £11.75)

What with Pixels coming out soon (which you can read all about in our brand spanking new issue 415), retro video gaming is again coming into focus. So with that in mind, alltheheroes.co.uk have these fantastically fun shirts celebrating a game indebted to old school pleasures in Mojang’s immensely popular imaginative sandbox video game Minecraft. You block barmy fans have a choice between the “Like A Boss” shirt and the “Creepers Gonna Creep” shirt and both are simple but effective tributes to the creative, crazy and cubey world of Minecraft.

1. Iron Giant Bolt Replica (mondotees.com, $65 USD)

Hey folks, Vin Diesel will be turning 48 this weekend, so to celebrate the gravel voiced action stars big day, we cast our minds back to a massive metallic character he once voiced. Diesel has voiced Groot, driven fast cars and blasted aliens in his movie career but perhaps no other character he has ever portrayed has warmed our hearts as much as the extra-terrestrial Iron Giant in Brad Bird’s underrated animated gem from 1999. So to celebrate both Bird’s superb adaptation of Ted Hughes 1968 novel The Iron Giant and its star voice, mondotees.com have the perfect thing in this replica Iron Giant bolt from the memorable re-assembly sequences in the film. Never before has a bolt being as exciting as this brilliant memorabilia piece from Mondo!
