Welcome once again to the movie marketplace that is Watto’s Emporium, which rounds up some of the best merch that we found across the online galaxy. And this week we are going back to basics with a shirts and mugs selection but what cult entertainment geek can look themselves in the mirror without saying they own mugs and shirts that pay tribute to their favourite shows, books, magazines or movies? So, drum roll please, let's open the emporium gates and have a gander…

3. Jurassic World Mugs (diversionsgifts.co.uk, £8 each)

If you, like most of us, are waiting excitedly for the results of Colin Trevorrow’s long awaited sequel Jurassic World, then why not have a few cuppas while you wait with these Jurassic World themed mugs from diversionsgifts.co.uk! As merchandise goes we know it isn’t all that weird, but you have to admit that genetically enhanced dinosaurs make everything awesome…even a coathanger would benefit from the skeletal logo of the Jurassic franchise. Mugnificent…sorry.

2. All The Heroes (5 Superhero T-shirts) Mystery Box Pre-order Released W/C 22nd June (alltheheroes.co.uk, £18)

Let's face it, like that Family Guy gag once suggested, we are all tempted by a mystery box…it could contain anything! However in this case you’d be right being intrigued because from the 4th-18th June only this limited offer from alltheheroes.co.uk sees you take part in a glorified lucky dip of super-heroic shirts. The Mystery Box will contain 5 random T-Shirts of one size from a whole host of comic book universes (from Batman and The Avengers to The Green Lantern and Daredevil). Is it risky but oh my word it is more tempting than Tony Stark leaving his Iron Man suit open and unattended.

1. Official Street Fighter Ken of Clubs/ Ryu of Hearts (numskull.co.uk, £22.00)

However when talking about shirts, this week’s collection of Street Fighter merch from numskull.co.uk is the winner. There are a selection of character shirts that represent different countries, however, our personal favourites are these badass shirts that are inspired by playing cards. You have a choice of two in the Ken of Clubs and the Ryu of Hearts, both come wonderfully placed over the playing card and wrapped in their nation’s flag (Ken- USA, Ryu- Japan, duh) talk about tough decisions (you see what we did there? Tough. As in tough fighters? Moving on…). “Want to look awesome? Join the Club”, says Numbskull on one of the shirt’s descriptions, hey no fair, we thought we were the only ones allowed to make the puns here!

Be sure to keep an eye out every week for our pick of the top 3 funniest, funkiest and freakiest finds in our online merchandising explorations!
