Save Tuesday August 26th in your diary, folks, as STARBURST are bringing something special to the glorious FAB CAFE in Manchester.

We will be presenting 'A Terrifying Evening of Short Films and Chat' with the legend that is Laurence R. Harvey, star of THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE 2 & 3. If that's not enough, we shall have with us two of the hottest indie directors of the moment, straight from the U.S.

Jill Sixx Gevargizian will introduce her fantastic short film (starring Laurence) CALL GIRL, which debuts the weekend before at Film4 FrightFest.

We are also proud to screen two brilliant shorts from Jerry Pyle, who will also be in attendance, namely BURN and the UK premiere of SERVICE.

All three films are brief but effective nightmares. You won't be disappointed!

In CALL GIRL, Laurence is Ed, the excitable host for the lovely (and paid for) Mitzy (Tristan Risk), little does she know he has set up a webcam to broadcast his night to an eager viewing public. We like to watch, do you?

BURN is a simple story of revenge, with a man forced to make the most unenviable decision!

SERVICE is a home invasion film with a twist. Lucy (Denna Thomsen) has to do anything to make ends meet, even if it means taking her daughter to work with her while she 'cleans' an apartment, dressed only in her lingerie.

All three guests will chat about their work and answer any questions you might want (*although we may have to strap Laurence down and give him a sandpaper-job to find anything out about CENTIPEDE 3 - on second thoughts, he might like that) and will be available for photos, autographs and generally schmoozing with everyone.

This is a very rare chance to hang out with some of the best emerging talent and one of the most iconic British horror figures from recent times. The downside is you may meet several STARBURST writers, but as long as you don't feed us after midnight (alcohol is perfectly fine, though) we're a friendly bunch - come and say "Hi!"
