Star Wars and Harry Potter star Warwick Davis is the latest special guest to be confirmed for this weekend's MCM Manchester Comic Con, event organisers have announced. As well as meeting fans and signing autographs, Davis will be appearing onstage with YouTube superstar Stuart Ashens and Red Dwarf's Robert Llewellyn on the Saturday of the show to promote their latest film, Ashens And The Quest For The Gamechild.

In addition to playing the Ewok Wicket in Return of the Jedi and Professor Filius Flitwick in the Harry Potter movies, Warwick Davis has starred in fantasy film Willow, the Leprechaun horror franchise and Ricky Gervais comedy Life's Too Short. Other big screen credits include The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Labyrinth and The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, while TV appearances include Extras, Merlin and Doctor Who.

Warwick Davis will be joining an MCM Manchester Comic Con special guest line-up that features Red Dwarf stars Chris Barrie, Robert Llewellyn and Hattie Hayridge; Game Of Thrones' James Cosmo and Ross Mullan; Doctor Who's Ian McNeice; Torchwood's Kai Owen; Primeval's Andrew Lee Potts and Hannah Spearitt, plus top anime and videogame voice actors Vic Mignogna, Bryce Papenbrook and D.C.
