Brit Sci Fi 2014

Billing itself as the UK’s largest family and fan event, Brit Sci Fi returns to the National Space Centre in Leicester for the weekend of March 1st/2nd 2014.

The guest list includes a range of stars from DOCTOR WHO, the 1970s TOMORROW PEOPLE, BLAKE’S 7, RED DWARF and THUNDERBIRDS. These are topped up with various writers, special effects people and actors from the Minister of Chance. There is a range OF special events (not all free – check the website) including: build Tracy Island, a writing workshop, talks, cosplay, exhibits from various TV shows and of course some Daleks and Cybermen.

There is a packed programme of panels across both days designed to work for those that only visit on one of the days in that most sessions are held on both days. Both days include a cosplay competition.

Tickets include access to the National Space Centre with all six galleries, the Rocket Tower and SIM ride. They are available now for £13 per adult, £11 for children aged 5 – 16 and full details (including the prices for some of the other items) are on the Brit Sci Fi website.
