Another fabulous guest has been announced for S.H.A.D.O.Con, the UFO convention, which takes place in Derby on June 3rd.

Alan Harris, who had small roles in a few episodes such as an Interceptor pilot in Kill Straker!, a sonar operator on Skydiver in Destruction, and the passenger in Straker's car in a flashback to 1970 in The Long Sleep will be in attendance on the day. He also appeared in Gerry Anderson’s Space: 1999 and is best known for playing Bossk the bounty hunter in The Empire Strikes Back.

Alan will be interviewed and will sign autographs. He joins fellow convention guests Michael Jayston, Susan Jameson, Gary Raymond, Shane Rimmer, Ayshea Brough, and Keith Alexander (who is doing a live interview with us from Australia via Skype).

One of the attractions of the day is a race planned between model S.H.A.D.O. Mobiles on the pedestrianised quadrangle outside the Quad Cinema in Derby.

The episodes being screened are The Dalotek Affair, The Man Who Came Back and The Sound Of Silence, and there will be model-makers' and dealers' tables as well as a raffle to benefit our nominated charity for the day - Macmillan Cancer Support.

S.H.A.D.O.Con, the first UK convention for the show in over thirty years, takes place on Saturday, June 3rd at the Derby Quad Cinema. Tickets for the event are priced £45 and are available here.
