It’s been confirmed that UFO director Alan Perry will be attending the upcoming S.H.A.D.O.Con.

Alan directed five episodes of the 26-part series - Survival, The Dalotek Affair, Close Up, The Responsibility Seat, and Kill Straker! The Dalotek Affair will be screened at the event, as it also fits with guest Keith Alexander who had a few key scenes in the story as Lt Ford, and as a tribute to the late scriptwriter Ruric Powell, who died earlier this year.

Keith will be making his appearance via a Skype interview from Australia where he lives.

Alan was also a camera operator on the last nine episodes to be made, which includes the two episodes that will be screened The Man Who Came Back and The Sound of Silence.

S.H.A.D.O.Con is the first UK convention for the show in over thirty years and takes place on Saturday, June 3rd at the Derby Quad Cinema.

Among others already confirmed to attend are veteran star Michael Jayston, series regular Ayshea Brough (who played Lt. Ayshea Johnson), Keith Alexander (Lt. Ford), and Shane Rimmer - who appeared in three UFO episodes and was the voice of Scott Tracy in Anderson’s Thunderbirds.

As well as the guests, there will be displays from model makers and dealers' tables, screenings of episodes and a raffle in aid of the convention’s nominated charity, Macmillan Cancer Support. The guests will also be available for autograph sessions.

Tickets for the event are priced £45 and are available here.
