David Warner Announced for Sci-Fi Scarborough 2017

Legendary actor David Warner has been announced to appear at Sci-Fi Scarborough 2017.

The Emmy-award winning actor, a veteran of over 200 roles and a familiar face on the small and big screen will be signing at the event on Saturday, April 8th.

Some of his notable appearances include The Omen, Star Trek: The Final Frontier, Star Trek: The Undiscovered Country, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Doctor Who, Time Bandits, From Beyond the Grave and much more. He recently played Abraham Van Helsing in the series Penny Dreadful.

Co-organiser Steve Dickinson said of the announcement, “This is just incredible news for Scarborough & SFS, an actor such as David agreeing to appear is amazing, the reaction on social media has been wonderful, we are really shaping up for April.

The fourth Sci-Fi Scarborough takes place in the beautiful Victorian Spa Complex over the weekend of Sat and Sun April 8th/9th. With their magical mix of amazing guests, authors, movie and TV props, console, retro & table top gaming, comic book artists, indie films, cosplay competition, panels, software developers, geek pub quiz, live music, collectable traders, Saturday night party and more content than ever.

Other confirmed guests are Sylvester McCoy, Sophie Aldred, Gareth David-Lloyd, Garrick Hagon, Tim Rose, Jon Campling, Andrew-Lee Potts, Richard Oldfield, Liza Ross, Pam Rose, and Clem So.

The event runs from Saturday, April 8th 10am-6pm with the geek pub quiz, party & live music from 6.30pm till late, and Sunday, April 9th 10am-6pm.

Day tickets £15 (under 12s £5 Students £10) Weekend £25 under 5s go free. Tickets on sale from www.scarboroughspa.co.uk.
