Fantastic First Guests Announced for Sci-Fi Scarborough 2017

Sci-Fi Scarborough is back for the fourth year in the beautiful Victorian Spa Complex over the weekend of April 8th/9th, 2017.

As always, they’ll be a great mix of amazing guests, authors, movie and TV props, console, retro and table top gaming, comic book artists, indie films, cosplay competition, panels, software developers, geek pub quiz, live music, collectible traders, Saturday night party and more content than you can imagine, plus great guests, including Torchwood favourite, Gareth David-Lloyd.

Best known as Ianto Jones, Gareth will be making his first appearance at the seaside event on Saturday as part of the ‘SatWhoDay’ guest line up.

SFS co-organiser Steve Dickinson said, “Torchwood is a great show, having Gareth join us at SFS is a major coup for the event, the following that show has is immense, he’s a very popular guy

Joining Gareth is another iconic sci-fi face, Garrick Hagon, aka Biggs Darklighter in Star Wars! Garrick is the first name announced for the Star Wars Sunday at the event.

Steve Dickinson added, “Biggs is an important part of Star Wars folklore, wait till you see who else we have lined up for next April!

The event runs from 10am-6pm on Saturday, April 8th with the geek pub quiz, party and live music from 6.30pm till late, and 10am-6pm on Sunday, April 9th.

Day tickets  are £15 (under 12s £5 Students £10) Weekend £25, and under 5’s go free
