The guest list at Sci-Fi Scarborough 2016 has been completed with the announcement that Battlestar Galactica legend Richard Hatch will be in attendance.

Richard played Apollo in the original ‘70s series, and returned in the reboot as Tom Zarek, as well as having an amazing career as an actor, director, writer, and producer. He will also be hosting a special Masterclass on Friday April 8th, giving a 90-minute seminar to attendees on how to survive in the entertainment industry. Event co-organiser Steve Dickenson said: “To say we were honoured that he agreed to attend is an understatement. His major roles are so woven into the fabric of the shows that we grew up loving and he is the sort of Actor that spans fandom in all generations. It is the biggest coup for the event to date and when added to our line up to make 12 fantastic guests, this year’s event is one we could only have dreamed of 4 years ago. And if that isn’t enough, we still have all the features, content, awards, films, extras and surprises yet to announce. Scarborough stands tall!

The full guest line-up includes three Game of Thrones stars, Doctor Who legends, and famous faces from Star Trek, Babylon Five, and Red Dwarf.

The event takes place at Scarborough Spa Complex on April 9th/10th.
