Event News

The annual commemoration of cinema Scalarama is just around the corner and this year’s screenings will take place in numerous towns and encompass even more cinematic delights.

Now in its fifth year, the event started in London as a tribute to the infamous repertory cinema The Scala, and has has grown and branched out to become a country-wide celebration of cult films, weird sub-cultures and off-beat directors. Art house meets schlock in this month-long carnival of celluloid treats.

The Manchester branch of Scalarama has already announced its full line-up, which you can check out below. For more information, and to see what’s going in your own area, head over to the Scalarama website.
