Event News

Stand by for action! After last year's successful inaugural event Anderson Entertainment last week confirmed that ANDERCON 2015 would be taking place from the 12-14th of June. So we had the when, but what about the where?

Well wonder no longer as Jamie Anderson (head honcho at Anderson Entertainment) has today announced that this year's event shall be taking place at the Athena in Leicester.

The beautiful Art-Deco venue certainly looks the part, and whilst at first glance it may seem a left-field choice for a convention, Jamie Anderson explained that that was a major part of the decision:

"In planning Andercon 2015, we’ve taken on board a lot of the feedback from last year’s event, and raising the bar higher still, we’re creating an unconventional convention – something very different and very unique…

In addition to extensive displays of original puppets props, costumes, and sets together with some stunning reproductions and specially commissioned builds, we will also be running interactive workshops celebrating the techniques and processes involved in creating those colourful and entertaining Supermarionation and live action productions!"

We're massively excited to see where Jamie and the crew take this, keep your eyes peeled as we'll update you as we learn more. F.A.B.!
