Starburst Issue 366

Editorial

Welcome to Starburst Issue 366. You could not possibly believe how happy and relieved I am to write those words. It has been a massive project, but finally the UK’s Longest Running Magazine of Sci-Fi, Horror & Fantasy is back in publication.

My name is Jordan M Royce. Some people call me Mike (my middle name) or Jordan – I answer to both. I don’t answer to “Roycey” – although some people have tried to make that one stick. You won’t get loads of lengthy Editorials from me. I am here to look after the Starburst Legacy, not pontificate (although I do have a Column that got a little out of hand this month).

I came aboard because, like many of you, I love this Magazine with a passion. It needed to enter the next stage of its evolution, and I took on the Job. Luckily, I have not had to do this alone. From the moment we announced our return, we were flooded with good wishes, and people wanting to contribute. I have never seen anything like it. Within weeks the Team was assembled, and what a team it is. I hope you enjoy reading this special Re-launch issue, as it represents an astonishing amount of superb work from the New Starburst Writing Team. I believe it is back with a vengeance, and will last the course. It needs you however, to enjoy the Magazine through good times and bad. The most important thing you can do today, is read us, and then tell everyone about us. Send links, send emails, listen to the STARBURST RADIO SHOW, tell your friends down the pub – “Starburst Is Back!”

I've been in the USA for the last eleven years so I actually never knew the mag had disappeared! glad to see you back though as Starburst was THE best source for all my sci-fi and fantasy movie/TV news back then (and I started from ish #1). Some things must never die!

Had no idea what to expect. But if I had expectations, consider them exceeded. Consider Starburst bookmarked. Great work, Jordan and Co. And yes, I am one of the writers so I'm bias.
