Comic News: Quentin Tarantino Developing his First Sequel with DJANGO/ZORRO Crossover!

Comic Book News

The titled-like-a-slashfic-but-probably-not-going-to-be-a-slashfic DJANGO/ZORRO is the first story featuring Django Freeman since 2012’s DJANGO UNCHAINED. The brand new tale starring the slave-turned-bounty hunter and the nobleman-turned-vigilante is to be co-published by DC & Dynamite Entertainment and plotted by Quentin Tarantino and ZORRO RIDES AGAIN writer Matt Wagner. The final script will be handled by comic book veteran Wagner, who will presumably tweak Tarantino’s more leisurely approach to screenwriting to fit the printed medium without resorting to eighteen page long dialogue sequences about Our American Cousin or early Mark Twain stories!

DJANGO/ZORRO rides into comic book stores later this year. If you missed Quentin Tarantino's first foray into the comic book world, you can now get his seven-issue adaptation of his original DJANGO UNCHAINED screenplay in trade paperback over at Amazon.
