The is still plenty of time left to contribute to the Kickstarter campaign for the third issue of the wonderful post-apocalyptic saga Bust. The campaign page is here and you can also have a read of our reviews of the first and second issues.

Following on directly from the previous instalment, issue three continues the story of Jack, the card shark turned gladiator turned vagrant vigilante. In Wasteland Ronin, Jack encountered a roving band of raiders and their mysterious masked leader who holds a personal grudge against our grizzled hero.

The synopsis of #3 reads thus:

The plot of this issue focuses on Dawn, a gifted young girl who holds the secret to saving what is left of humankind by halting a terrible cataclysm. Jack and his posse of survivors must deliver Dawn to the mysterious Station Bravo, where they believe she will be safe. It is a few States away, leading to an epic road trip across the ravaged, decayed husk of the old world. However, Jack's being hunted cross the Free South by a savage gang of lunatics known as The Smilers and to top it off he's losing his grip on reality. He sees people from his past, he can't tell friend from foe and his lust for violence is growing. Can he keep his shit together long enough to outrun the Smilers’ crazed leader Sackcloth and deliver Dawn from evil?

As well as the usual assortment of variant covers and previous issues, backer rewards also include the likes of art prints, custom sketches and a cameo appearance in the comic itself. Check out the campaign here.
