Comic Book News

The crowdfunding for fantasy comic A TALE OF SHADOWS is very close to reaching funding required  to release the first book of a planned five-part series. The lushly illustrated work is keenly anticipated by fans.
The comic book tells the tale of a world split between science and magic. The story will focus on a young boy called Felix who is caught up in a struggle between two factions; 'The Men of the Way' and a ragtag team of rogue scientists/artists, the Sciencestitions.
The book features a distinctive and incredibly rich art style, inspired by the best of the international indie comic scene. The artists involved are Lyndon White, who is best known for his book Lost & found and gallery artist Tyler Wilson. Dead Canary Comics creator Paul Clark-Forse is writing the story.

The Kickstarter campaign runs till the April 18th, and rewards include hard copy versions of the book and t-shirts. The campaign can be found here.
