Everybodyelse Productions has announced that they have just finished recording the first two episodes of a new science-fiction audio drama series called OSIRIS.

OSIRIS tells the story of Nottingham graphic designer Jason Fox (Christian Edward – DOCTOR WHO: DALEKS AMONG US), who stumbles upon a spaceship buried deep beneath the roots of the Major Oak tree in Sherwood Forest. Jason, his best friend William Tyler (Robert Whitelock – HERCULES, DOCTOR WHO: THE BELLS OF SAINT JOHN) and his sister Melissa Fox (Liz White – LIFE ON MARS, THE WOMAN IN BLACK) are then taken on a dangerous adventure where they are chased by government authorities and then hunted by a ruthless alien assassin across the solar system.

Other cast members include Georgia Moffett (DOCTOR WHO: THE DOCTOR'S DAUGHTER, SPOOKS: CODE 9) as Jessica and Colin McFarlane (BATMAN BEGINS, THE DARK KNIGHT) as General Stone.

The first two episodes are PILOT (written by Martin Johnson) and OSIRIAN ENEMY  (written by Daniel Lacey). Lisa Bowerman, who will be very familiar to fans of Big Finish audios, directs both. Martin Johnson also produced both stories.

OSIRIS can be pre-ordered from the Everybodyelse website and anyone who pre-orders the limited edition DVD will be entered for a chance to win a signed poster. The release on DVD is a first for audio drama and will include a 5.1 soundtrack and exclusive extra content. This will be available from August 15th. If you want to wait for the CD release then the two episodes will be released on September 12th and October 10th respectively. The DVD is priced at £24.99 and the CDs at £9.99 each.

STARBURST first reported in this project back in April and is pleased that the project has moved forward strongly.
