Pan Book of Horror Stories

They were a part of literary history for many readers looking for thrills, and now The Pan Book of Horror Stories are to have a tome looking at the anthology book's history and impact. However, the author needs you to help make it happen.

Author Johnny Mains has launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund the completion of the project, which has already occupied five years of his life in research and interviewing key figures.

The books, famous for their lurid covers were published between 1959 and 1989. Among the writers in the thirty volumes were Peter Fleming, Muriel Spark, Bram Stoker, and Ray Bradbury and edited for the majority of the run by Herbert Van Thal.
