Book News

Joseph Fink and Jeffrey Cranor’s sublime podcast WELCOME TO NIGHT VALE has gone from strength to strength since its launch in 2012, and soon they’ll take their unique brand of surreal storytelling to another medium with the release of its first spin-off novel.

For those unfamiliar, the serialized podcast takes the form of a public radio show being broadcast from the titular town of Night Vale, a place that makes Twin Peaks look like Chipping Norton in terms of batshit crazy. I've only just got round to listening to "Welcome To Night Vale" thanks to you wonderful chaps at Starburst. It's great and eases my pain during the empty void between Starburst Radio podcasts. I hope it generates every spin off imaginable.
