Book News

Steampunk author and wit Gail Carriger has announced a departure from her usually amusing Victorian adventure writing to produce the science fiction audiobook, Crudrat.

Aimed at the young adult audience, Crudrat is set in a futuristic city sized spaceport where children scrape a living by cleaning the city’s vast power generation system. It follows the adventures of a spunky young girl called Maura, who has grown too tall to help repair the spaceport’s systems.

The audio-drama will be a full cast affair and will include an original score and cinematic sound design, produced by highly experienced industry professionals.
