Fans of Terry Pratchett might like to know that the celebrated author has teamed up with Waterstones to raise money for Alzhaimer’s Research UK by producing limited edition Discworld cases for you Kindle, featuring art by Josh Kirby. Even better, these exclusive cases will also be available signed by Pratchett himself! Sound good? Read on for the full details…

Waterstones is to launch two exclusive Terry Pratchett Kindle cases on 9th September, including a special edition signed case. Both will feature Josh Kirby artwork and will be available from Waterstones bookshops nationwide as well as online at

The Limited Edition Signed Terry Pratchett case for Kindle and Kindle Paperwhite is signed by Terry Pratchett on the inside, and individually numbered. The linen cover featuring Josh Kirby’s artwork from the Discworld novel Mort, originally published in 1987, has genuine leather lining and trimming, with Sir Terry’s signature mounted on a leather plaque inside. The case will be limited to 150 editions with an RRP of £100. All profits from the sale of this limited edition case will go to Alzheimer’s Research UK. The Terry Pratchett Special Edition Discworld cover for Kindle and Kindle Paperwhite will have an RRP of £29.99. It features Josh Kirby’s artwork for the original edition of Eric, originally published in 1990, printed digitally onto linen. Fans who register their interest for the limited edition case but are unsuccessful will receive a 10% discount code for the standard case.
