Book News: Colin Harvey Commemorative Bundle Announced

Angry Robot author Colin Harvey died of a stroke on 16th August last year, aged 50. A British science fiction writer, Harvey had his first book, Vengeance, published in 2001 and had 5 further novels plus a collection of short stories published. His works were well received and gained him a nomination for both the British Fantasy Award and the Black Quill Award and, as such, Harvey is very much a writer who died before his time.

To mark the one year anniversary of Harvey’s death, Angry Robot are offering a special bundle of Harvey’s ebooks, including 2 novels, Damage Time and Winter Song, plus his Four Flash Fictions mini collection for £6. The books are available until the end of August through the Robot Trading Company and, if you ask us, are a steal at twice the price.

All proceeds will be donated by Angry Robot to Above and Beyond, Harvey’s favourite charity. They’re a local charity based in Bristol that raise money for Bristol’s 9 central hospitals and provide an invaluable service, each year raising as much as £3 million during a time when the money is sorely needed.
