Let’s do a quick test: how many Trekkers/Trekkies knew that there was a STAR TREK newspaper strip in the '70s and '80s? And how many of the few people who knew that it existed have actually read it?
Thought not.
Well, from November those of us who aren’t hardcore enough to have read them can own them in nice hardcover form. The US gets it in October, but that’s fair enough as they had STAR TREK first in general. We’ll try to bring you a review closer to the time.
Carrying on from the events of the first film, the first volume contains ten story arcs across two years of comics. Due to the strip's policy of featuring colour on Sundays, it's only partially in colour.
It will be published by IDW on the 13th of November with an RRP of £37.99 (although it’s available on Amazon at the time of writing for a pre-order price of £24.69). In the words of George Takei, “oh, my!”
