As we reported last September, Stephen King is currently hard at work on a second draft of DR. SLEEP, his sequel to the beloved 1977 novel THE SHINING. We heard King read a few extract then, and now he's previewed the book once more, reading to the attendees of the recent Savannah Book Festival.
No psychic vampires this time - it's actually the opening chapter dealing exclusively with the aftermath of the horriying events at the Overlook Hotel. Interesting stuff...
