Best-Selling YA Author Leigh Bardugo Hits the UK

Best-selling Young Adult author Leigh Bardugo has begun her tour of the UK. The US-based writer is best known for The Grisha Trilogy, a series of fantasy novels with a growing cult following. The Grisha books focus on an elite group with very specific mystical powers who love, fight and politic in an elegant fantasy world.

Leigh’s tour begins October 22nd in the extremely genre friendly city of Nottingham at Waterstones.  On the Friday that same week she will be in Newcastle at Seven Stories, the National Centre for Children’s Books. She will also be attending FantasyCon this weekend, and will be in Waterstones Birmingham on the Sunday and Waterstones London Piccadilly on the October 26th.

Bardugo’s latest book is The Six of Crows, a standalone novel in the Grisha universe. Set in the city of Ketterdam, it is the story of 17-year-old criminal prodigy Kaz Brekker, who forms a team to rescue a very special scientist in order to prevent the destruction of the magical Grisha.
